Hot Bag Alert: Staud Grace Bag Review 2018
A new edition of the Hot Bag Alert is upon us, and today we’re talking all about the Staud Grace Bag. And for the first time ever, I’m introducing a video version of the review, for those that prefer to watch a video, as opposed to reading. The Staud Grace bag is one of the “it” bags from an “it” brand" this season and usually, this combination commands high price tag. However, at an accessible $275, this hot bag could be yours with a little saving. But should you get it? Read (or watch) on for the review!
Shop the bag right here and be sure to let me know in the comments below if you plan on getting this bag, and what color is YOUR favorite!
Staud Grace Bag
Staud is a relatively new brand but one that has been very well received among the streetstyle stars, and this bag, in particular, has been seen over and over again. But why should you want it, or invest in it?
3 main reasons: first of all, it’s an “it” bag from an “it” designer. It’s a “hot” bag right now and one that will have people asking you “where did you get that bag” quite often. Second? Patent leather is a tried and true fabric for Fall & Winter, not only this season but in many seasons past. This means that you’ll wear it a lot, not only now, but into the future. Lastly, it’s pouch-style is a spin on the usual bucket bag you’ve been seeing, so it’s different and fun!
Staud Grace Bag Specifications
The Staud Grace Bag comes in at 4’’ on the handle, while the bag is mostly 8.75’’ x 8.25’’, making it small, but surprisingly spacious. Take a look at the video above for a live demo of what fits in the bag to give you an example. The design of the bag features a very pretty braided detailing on the handle and a snap enclosure to ensure nothing gets out (or nobody gets in). The inside is lined with suede and has a zip enclosure for coins, lip gloss, etc to help you get organized as well.
While I’m a big fan of the black patent leather version you see here, the Staud Grace Bag also comes in several other colors, including white and pink and other fabrics as well, including faux fur, velvet and a silk blend.
Staud Grace Bag Verdict
Not very often do we find an “it” bag from an “it”designer of the moment at an accessible price. At $275, the Staud Grace Bag is a great option to add to your wardrobe and one that I consider a great buy for the price. But aside from being a hot bag right now, it’s an easy-to-style bag as well. It’s black and patent leather, meaning it’ll go with almost anything you have in your closet already. Plus, black patent leather means it’ll work this season, and for many seasons to come as well. Lastly, it’s very spacious as I demonstrated how ti fit everything I take around with me on a night out with little to no problem.
