Maje x Schott: A Sweater Dress + Reversible Bomber Jacket
It's been a warmer-than-usual Fall so far in the Northeast, but it's looking like the temperatures are finally going to start dropping starting next week. A perfect time to start looking at some colder-weather outfits starting with this one gorgeous combo from Maje featuring a white sweater dress and reversible bomber jacket.
Maje x Schott
Today's outfit came from the collaboration between Maje & Schott, which was celebrated in October at an event at their SoHo store. Not only was the event a great time, but the individual pieces from the partnership are absolutely gorgeous. For me, this combo of the white sweater dress and reversible bomber jacket was the perfect outfit. Not only do they work great together, but they're perfect separates. For this look, I styled the pieces with a pair of booties from Sigerson Morrison and my go-to belt bag (are you tired of it yet?) The outfit was featured on Vogue as part of the coverage of the event too, plus you get a BTS look at a story I recorded and shared.
But the pieces are great separates as well. The white sweater dress is perfect for these colder temperatures and an easy to style outfit because it's one piece and it's white, a neutral that you can throw almost anything on top, and it'll still work. You can choose to keep it toned down by adding other neutrals, or grab some pops of color like this red. It's up to you! Plus, the sweater dress can be worn anywhere. Take it to work, to happy hour, to dinner and to run some errands. It just works and can easily be elevated through accessories, or dressed down for a casual look.
I'm a big proponent on versatility and while a red bomber jacket might not always fit that bill, I think this one does thanks to its reversible nature. You are essentially getting two bomber jackets in one. You can get this bomber jacket and you have no need to worry about another bomber jacket for a long time. It can be styled with a dress, such as this one, but it works just as well with a pair of denim.
How would you style these two pieces individually? Let me know in the comments below!
