Trip in Rewind: Philly
Today's post is all about my recent weekend trip to Philly! This is such a great metropolitan city and I particular love Rittenhouse Square. The area features a beautiful park where you will find bystanders having picnics on the grass, reading a book, or going for a leisurely stroll. Frankly, it's a perfect movie setting. Surrounding the park, you have numerous sidewalk cafe's, high rise buildings, and great stores, one of them being Zara!
This was my second time in Philly, and this time we decided to check out Serafina, a chain that I'm obsessed with from New York City. The restaurant did not disappoint! Try having the Tartare di Sofia (tuna and salmon tartare) or the Avocado "San Pietro" which was a great avocado, shrimp, and cannellini bean salad in a champagne mustard sauce for appetizers. For the main course, you have to try one of their pizzas, the Ai Funghi (mushroom pizza) is a personal favorite. Oh and don't forget to have a glass of champs with your meal!
Another restaurant to check out in Rittenhouse Square is Rouge. This place has an amazing location since it overlooks the park and has outside seating. Perfect for the summer! I recommend checking them out for brunch and having the tuna tartare!
As always, thanks for reading!
