I partnered with Michaels to bring you some of my favorite affordable decorations for Halloween for the house - from the spooky to the funny, to the very chic! Halloween Decorations Inspo

For the longest time, I’ve known that when I bought a house and had a baby, I was going to make Halloween fun! Back in apartment living, normally we’d decorate maybe the door, and the entrance? And a subtle hint at Halloween here and there, but not too much. Now that we have a house and a baby, I had to come through with decorations and I turned to my friends at Michaels to make my selects. I KNEW I wanted big gigantic spiders to “take over” the house, so that was my first item.

From there, I wanted to really create a moment at the entrance - a mix of scary and Fall. So I picked up a bit of everything including a straw bale, some crows and zombie hands and more.

Then, I started looking for a mat and found some really funny ones that I had a hard time deciding. For the inside of the house, I also added some throw pillows to set the right scary mood.
