Oliver's Toys - Toys for Babies 0-12 months

Hi all,

Many of you have asked separately about the toys that you see Oliver using, and I felt it was time to compile a list of all of his toys for easy access. Ollie obviously has his favorites, but I can truly tell you that he plays or at least engages with each one of the items below, or has at some point in time. So let’s scroll down to check out some of his favorite toys, and recommendations for toys in the 0-6 months range.

Toys for babies 0-6 months

So off the bat, there are two play gyms - one from lovevery and one from buybuybaby. The Lovevery one came with the sensory extra items, and he loves them. It’s easy to assemble and disassemble if needed, and he loves it. Though both are great and I highly recommend them. Oliver has one at home, and one at the granparents’ house and he loves them.

For the play gyms, we also have the head support which is important to try and avoid any flat spots while they are laying down in the first few months.

Also for when he’s in the play gym, we’ve purchased different set of balls, mirrors and pianos, etc for him to kick or interact with. He loves these and you even might have seen Alex, my husband, singing happy birthday to him while playing the piano.

Once he started looking for teethers, we introduced the cube and Sophie, the giraffe and he plays with both and loves them.

Lastly, now that he can keep his head up a bit better, we got him a chair that has a good amount of support for him to practice sitting up (with a bit of help).

Baby Toys 6-12 Months

Once baby reaches 6 months, we can start adding a few more fun items. For example, I just added the Jolly Jumper and he LOVES it! It helps them start getting their legs working with some good support, and the kids love it!
