Splurge vs Look-For-Less: Amazon Jewelry

Excited to bring a new edition of Splurge vs “Look-For-Less”, a series in which we look at specific items and decide whether it’s best to splurge on these or take the “steal”, the “look-for-less”. Last time, we looked and compared sunglasses and today, we’re talking jewelry! So let’s dive right in!

Steal

This post will mostly focus on the “steal” part of the equation as most “Splurge” are items I’ve picked up over the years and not all of them are available. However, most of these are also semi universal in nature - that is, if you go into any local jewelry store, you’re likely to find something similar. Or even better: if you know a jeweler, they can build one for you.

For the “Steal” or “look-for-less” items, we search Amazon from beginning to end, and found these amazing pieces that we separated into rings and bracelets.

Rings

For the rings, I looked for different types of eternity rings - those that have diamonds or “diamonds” around the entire ring. We went from pave diamonds that are thin - and very stackable - to thicker more engagement ring style.

Bracelets

For the bracelets, I looked for a few different options, including a tennis bracelet, a gold chain, and cross-cable style. These are all pieces that, again, you’ll be able to find no matter what jeweler you go to.

The verdict? The rings are INCREDIBLY good! I had a hard time at times separating the splurge vs the steal. They’re THAT good! The bracelets were a bit more of a hit or miss, but all-in-all, once you take the price into account, each one of these is VERY good if you don’t feel like splurging or investing in jewelry right now.
