Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas for 2020

Hi all,

In today’s blog post and video, we’re talking about Valentine’s Day looks! That’s right: whether you celebrate Valentine’s, Galentine’s or neither, we’re talking fun outfits that incorporate the colors red and pink - both subtlety and not so much. So let’s jump right in!

The Color Pink

Pink is a very youthful and fun color. It’s very exciting, but is mostly associated with femininity. So pink is an excellent Valentine’s day choice if you want to show your feminine side while not absorbing too much attention. For these outfits, I gravitated towards some pink sweaters (here’s another pink sweater)mainly, but also pink shoes and a bag that featured hot pink.

The Color Red

Red is considered to be a powerful and bold color. It’s hard to not notice someone wearing something red, right? So this works both ways: it’s perfect if you want to be noticed, but should be used accordingly as a result. A job interview? Might be too bold and powerful. A date? Maybe!

Plus, did you know research shows men find a woman in red to be more attractive?

For this video, we’re featuring a great pair of red leather pants, (those from Zara available in store) a red bag.

So now, let’s check out the outfits by checking out the video below. We’re going from just hints of red and pink, to just a top or bottom, to dresses and of course, to an all-pink look as well.

Let me know which one was your favorite in the comments below and as always, thank you for reading!
