Getting a Good Night Sleep with Eve Mattress

We've spoken in the past of the importance of sleep. Think about it: when you don't get the sleep you need, it sets you off to have a bad day. You're cranky, easily irritated and your immune system suffers. So a good night sleep begins with a healthy routine, and is aided by a good mattress!

An old mattress can make you toss and turn all night, not allowing you to get the rest and sleep you need. So you wake up not only sleepy, but sometimes with back pain as well!

A mattress will help you get a good night sleep, as will a healthy pre-bedtime routine. Let's take a look at a few key things to keep in mind:


Establish a routine before you go to sleep but avoid electronics. Think reading a book, listening to calming music, taking a bath, etc. the bright light of your phone or tablet will keep you up. Oh, and remember to be consistent with the routine! That's why it's called a routine!

Limit caffeine, water, etc.

Might seem common sense, but try not to avoid caffeine in the evening and limit your water right before bedtime. Or else you'll be waking up in the middle of the night to use the restroom!

Only visit your bed at night time

If you spend time in your bed,  you won't necessarily associate your bed with sleeping. Napping also doesn't help because you won't be sleepy in the evenings if you take a long nap in the middle of the day.
