NYFW Look: Skirt Overalls!
And on the second day of NYFW, we turn to overalls! But these aren't your regular overalls, are they? In today's post, we're talking all about this NYFW look and why I think it works!
Printed Overalls for NYFW
These skirt overalls were a love at first sight for me. We know that overalls are having their moment this year, but as it's Fashion Week, I wanted to add something special to it, so in came this fun spin on your regular monochrome or denim overalls by M Missoni that adds this fun print. These aren't available yet but will be soon!
When styling the overalls, I wanted to look for a top that would continue elevating the look, but also not take too much away from the loud print. So I opted for this amazing Alice + Olivia lace top with bell sleeves. The top is a statement in and of itself, but it doesn't detract or distract. It adds! It's also perfect for movement shots as I'm walking to the shows.
When it came to accessories, while I would normally advise you to stay away for additional statements, it's Fashion Week, so some rules don't apply. For top to bottom: the earrings here are a fun, gold statement pair from By Malta and the translucent sunglasses come by way of Westward Leaning.
Furry bags are very much in style this Fall & Winter, so I wanted to add a bit of color with this one and paired it with a fun pair of silver statement booties from Zara (available right now!).
