MFW Look: Hot Sequins Pants & Trend

Hi all,

Milan Fashion Week might be over but that doesn't mean we can't still look at some of the outfits you saw me wearing on InstaStories. And today is a special Milan outfit, because it was one of the most photographed looks and grabbed the most attention. Plus, I wore it to some of my absolute favorite designer's shows and presentations in Missoni, Jimmy Choo and Anouki.

Sequins Trend for Fall & Winter

Sequins are a huge fall/winter trend, as well as a trend I saw on a lot of the SS18 runways and presentations, including at Anouki and Attico. In fact, Sequins have been big all year around and it doesn't look like it's stopping any time soon. so whether you have a pair in your closet or are looking to get your hands on a new set, the time is right!

But back to the look: I decided to pair these incredible sequins pants from MILLY with a great cropped gray knit from Rame. The pants are available on pre-order only as of writing, so get them before anyone else! The Rame knit is gorgeous and has sequins in the sweater so it made it extra fun for this particular look.  You can also style this top with a pair of high-waisted denim trousers and pants for a more weekend casual look.

For accessories, I paired the look with silver metallic booties (see similar ones here and here). To keep the metallic silver theme going on. I also chose a pointed-toe shoe as opposed to a sandal or round toe to add the illusion of length and a taller appearance because the pointed toe peeked from below the pants as opposed to not being shown at all had I decided to wear the other mentioned styles.

For earrings, I wore an old pair from my closet that I also wore for this denim and lace look in Milan (similar here and here). Finally, for the bag, I wanted to add pop of color to the look and opted for this red Furla bag - the perfect final touch!
