Thanksgiving Look: Outfit Inspo
It's mid November, and that means it's time to start planning our Thanksgiving outfits, of course! Thanksgiving is a time to spend with family, relax and enjoy some yummy Turkey (or Tofurkey). And it also means it's time for a cozy, cute outfit. So I've put together this look book with some different ideas that range from casual - but chic - to a bit more dressed up, so hopefully, we'll find the right look you're looking for!
So the first look is the most casual outfit in the look book, and one that I guarantee you have the pieces for in your wardrobe right now. It features monochrome layering, so that means we grabbed a turtleneck and a sweater of the same color, and layered one on top of the other. Then, add your favorite denim and finish the look off with some great, comfy flat boots. To add a little signature to your look, consider adding a hat, like this paper boy from Free People. And voila! You're Thanksgiving ready!
Flared Denim & Blouse
Our next look is still pretty casual as we're sticking with denim still. This time, I opted for denim with flares and paired them with this cute top from Parker NY. The top features amazing lace detailing but still has a mesh underneath so it's totally family friendly. It also has statement wide sleeves which I love. This is great if you live further south and it is still warm out. To add the pop of color, this time I opted for fun earrings, as opposed to the pop coming through the shoes or purse.
So we already spoke about a sweater look, so now, we're looking at a different sweater. This off-the-shoulder piece from Storets has been on repeat for me as of late. Today, I opted to pair it with black faux leather leggings and over-the-knee, black boots. Once again, I opted to add the pop of color and statement, not via the bag or shoes, but more so with this fun pink bow, also from Free People.
Cardi & Skirt
We're now moving on to the more dressier looks. For this first one, I started the look with a fun brown leather skirt from Storets, which is a great piece to add to your wardrobe for the winter. Then, I paired it with a simple black turtleneck and over-the-knee, black boots. To add color and for some warmth, I grabbed this red cardigan from Show Me your Mumu. Not only is it cozy, but it's red, because it's never too early to start bringing in some red for the holidays, right? To elevate the look further, I added these affordable statement earrings.
We finish the look book, with the comfiest and more elevated look: the sweater dress. This one in particular is an amazing piece from Lacoste (sold out online but available in select stores, see other Lacoste dresses) that was even featured on the runways last F/W Fashion Week. I'm loving the buttons and detailing and it's a piece that you can put on and go out the door for Thanksgiving, as well as work and brunch. For the bag, I grabbed a new favorite of mine in this soft brown purse from Maje, which can be worn both as a crossbody and top handle. To finish off the look and add a touch of cuteness, I again went for a bow to tie my ponytail. This time, in olive.
I hope the look book gave you an idea of what to wear for Thanksgiving. If you go for any of these ideas, do let me know and tag me in your Instagram pics! Which one is your favorite?
