Styling Polka Dots for Fall

Hi all,

Today we're talking about one of the classic, timeless prints that we all either have or should have in our wardrobe, in particular for Fall: polka dots! The polka dot print is a bold, fun print that works really great for pretty much everyone - whether you are a polka dot print master that likes to play and experiments with prints or someone that prefers to stick with neutrals and use prints to give your look a statement piece. Let's talk in detail about polka dots and take an in-depth look at this particular piece.

Polka Dots for Fall

Besides plaid, the next must-have print for any Fall wardrobe is polka dots and not only are they easy to style, the print is available in almost every piece: dress, skirt, pants, jumpsuits, etc.

Today's look features a fun romper from VICI Collection. One of my favorite design features for this one is the open tie back. It adds something fun and flirty to the piece. While the playsuit has shorts, the long sleeves allow it to still be good for Fall & Winter.

Today's look was for a warm Fall day, so I paired the jumpsuit with ankle booties from Nine West and a denim jacket from DL1961, (another similar here) that I styled off the shoulder. Wear something similar for a casual outing such as brunch or a casual date night. If you want to spice it out a bit for night time, then pair the jumpsuit with heeled thigh-highs and an oversized leather jacket.

You might have seen some Parisian inspired looks of late featuring a beret. You can do that here too: just go for a pair of fun tights and heeled boots, throw on the beret and a blazer and you can start saying "merci" and "bonjour" anywhere.
