Herve Leger Spring 2016 Collection

Hi all!

I had the great pleasure of attending the Herve Leger Spring 2016 runway show and WOW - what a show it was! As with Lacoste, I had the chance to go backstage with Fashion One TV for some interviews.

It was Herve Leger's 30th anniversary this year and while a lot of the collection stayed true to their past with bodycon silhouettes, there's a slight departure and exploration in their line this year. I had the incredible chance to interview the one and only Lubov Azria, wife of Max Azria and chief creative officer of BCBG and Herve Leger. She commented that this year, they wouldn't be showcasing their signature bandage dress for Spring 2016 and instead would be focusing on more flowy pieces while still maintaining the integrity and structure their known for. Another Spring 2016 focus was on separates, though I failed at taking good pictures of those.

The show also showcased different looks from the 30 years of Herve Leger. Check out my favorites below:

I also had the chance to speak with Orlando, hair stylist for the event. He joked that he likes to create looks that are difficult to do at home, so he can always keep his job. However, he did say that one way to do this braid at home is to start the it at the edge of your forehead, even though he usually starts from the back. Check it out:

Make up-wise, we continue seeing a natural look on the runway that accentuates the model's natural beauty. I'm loving it!

While backstage, I had the luck of running into the glowing Arielle from SomethingNavy who was very sweet and I was able to congratulate her on her pregnancy.

Check out my favorite looks from the collection: (Yes, I know, the pics aren't the best, as I was in the fourth row but hey, it was Herve Leger!)
