Hi all!

For today's post, I'm providing tips on how to wear the windowpane print. For today's look, I selected this amazing coat that is only $17 dollars! Yes, I'm not kidding. You can shop it directly by clicking on this link: http://fshion.me/jFWcrL. Paying attention to quality is key when purchasing any piece regardless of price. But back to the look, I then decided to stick to a monochrome color to keep the focus on the print. Another reason why you want to wear just one print when wearing windowpane is because you don't want to look overwhelming. I chose black but you could also replicate the look with another neutral color, think white, gray, navy, or even pastels (e.g., soft pink, baby blue). Also, by sticking to one color, you're creating the appearance of a slender and taller figure since it draws a bystander's eye up and down rather than side to side.

The tee I'm wearing is actually my husband's, it's perfect because it is a fitted/slim tee for him while for me it is the perfect baggy shirt. Since I'm quite petite, I like wearing pointy toe shoes in the same color of my pants, as it helps elongate my legs. However, you could also wear a fun and bold color heel or flat, think red or blue! I chose to wear a fun color via my bag, this helped add some fun to the look and in honor of Halloween, I thought it would be fun to wear this color combo. However, keep in mind you can wear black and orange during other months, just try to wear orange in one piece and keep the rest of the look minimal and stick to one neutral color.

As always, thanks for reading!

XOXO,

Christie
