3 tips to help keep the spark alive in your relationship. 

Hi all,

As I write this, Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and I thought it would be the perfect time to share 3 tips to keep the spark alive in your relationship.

It is totally normal to have ups and downs in relationships, and as time passes, it’s normal that with kids, careers, and everyting else going on, that ther spark fades or diminishes. But we’ve talked about how relationships take work. It isn’t - or shouldn’t- be about exiting, or giving up on the first tough moment. You have to work at it, every day! And that’s why I feel these three tips will help with that, so let’s dive in!

 3 Tips To Keep The Spark Alive In Your Relationship

1. 

First, never stop dating. When things become too repetitive and familiar, we’ll start seeing our partners as family and the less desirable they’ll become for us. So go out on dates and not just movie & dinner type of dates but try & do new things, where neither of you is the expert. Try a comedy club, escape room, or even a new hobby like pickle ball. When we do this, our brain will release the same type of chemicals that were released when we first started dating when everything was new.

It’s the small things we do for them everyday. 

Don’t just focus on one night a week of prioritizing your partner. Do little things to show them you care about them.Leave a post it note on their brief case or just put the phone down and look at them when they’re talking.

And lastly, wear something they’ll like. This could look like a certain sweatshirt, oversized t-shirt of theirs, or a more revealing outfit like mine. They’ll appreciate it. 

Remember, relationships take work and go ahead and send this to your partner, if they needed a reminder.
