Styling a White Fringe Top

See this content in the original post

Hi all,

Thank you for stopping by today! We're talking about this white fringe top, a super fun piece for the season that is quite chic. Let's see at how I styled it here and why, and look at other ways of styling as well in case you decide to get it.

The White Fringe Top Outfit

For this particular look, I started off with the top from Line & Dot. It's a super fun piece and one that can be taken from day to night rather easily during the Spring & Summer months. Plus, it has the extra plus that it is off-the-shoulder making it very much on trend for the season. The texture and design give it a luxe feel.

For this look, I went with a new pair of AG Denim jeans that I'm loving right now. The fact that they are distressed, but at the same time nor as informal as some of the other ones I've been wearing is a plus. This makes them a bit more versatile as they'll work in a dress-down look, but we can also elevate them a bit.

It's chilly still here in New York City in May, so I couldn't leave home without a jacket, and this one that I picked up recently at Lilly Pulitzer is amazing. The white color of the jacket allows it to go with almost anything and it's perfect for the current temperatures.

When it comes to finalizing the look, I grabbed these Pour La Victoire sandals. You might have seen me wearing them in Miami in March. I love that they're super versatile as well and feel equally at home with jeans, with a skirt, or even dresses and jumpsuits.

When it comes to accessories, I added my new Fossil watch & pink Sage Aubrey pink bag!

How to Style a White Fringe Top

As you saw above, distressed denim worked great for this top. But how else can we wear it? Given the nature of the top, you want to keep the bottom form-fitting. That's key, in my opinion. Otherwise, adding a bulkier bottom means you're taking away from the top, which is meant to get most of the attention. As a result, different types of denim will work nicely here. Or - perfect for Summer - you could opt for a fitted pair of linen pants as well.

The top also begs or asks to be worn with heels because it's abit dressier in nature. Here, a sandal like the one I'm wearing works, but look also for a good pair of heeled espadrilles as well.

So let me know in the comments below: How would you style this white fringe, off-the-shoulder top?

Thank you for reading!

xoxo,
