Retro Weekend Look

Hi all,

You know I love pops of color, and today’s outfit is no different as I’m adding a fun pop of color via a beanie on this fun, retro weekend look. So let’s take an in-depth look at how I chose the outfit, why I think it works and get all the details on these pieces for you to shop!

Don’t forget to comment below with your thoughts on the look and the pieces!

Holzweiler Beanie

The piece that started this look was the beanie, believe it or not as I just recently received it and wanted to wear it. Plus, I really like the color - perfect for a dull winter day. This one is from Holzweiler, a Norwegian brand that is well known for its accessories and hangar logo (depicted on the beanie. Great quality, keeps your head warm and offers color to boot.

Neutrals

Since the beanie was adding the color, I opted to finish the look with neutrals to let the beanie take the spotlight. So I kept it simple: white boots (these have been on major repeat it - find similar, more affordable pair here), a black coat, black leggings and a white t-shirt. These are all items you most likely already have in your wardrobe! (and if not, you can go shopping below). So

Accessories

You’ve seen me wear the Alexa Chung x Sunglass Hut Collab sunglasses before and this look uses them once again - big fan of these sunnies with their 70s retro look. The next item might be controversial for some: I opted for a brown bag to balance out the sunnies. We’ve spoken before about black and brown together. It’s not for everyone, but I like how they pair - they’re neutrals after all!

Will you be replicating this look for your weekend outings? Let me know in the comments below!
