3 tips for daylight savings for your kids

Here’s 3 things to start today so your little one is able to go to sleep on time on Sunday and you can survive daylight savings, spring ahead.

1. Start having meals 15 minutes earlier each day this week leading up to Sunday.

2. Start bedtime routine 10 minutes earlier each night until you get to your new desired bedtime leading up to Sunday. Same goes for naps.

This means dim the lights in the house & turn off those tablets, tv, anything with blue lights an hour before bedtime. This let’s melatonin, “a chemical that makes us sleepy”, do it’s job.

Then Do bath, pajamas, and book time.

3. . Try an ok-to-wake clock. This is great for toddlers 3 and older. It helps them understand when it’s okay to get out of bed. Comment clock and I’ll dm you a link.
