Corset Trend

Today, i’m excited to talk about one fo this year’s biggest trends: corsets. The corset is just one of many ways to add a little bit of structure and playfulness to an outfit and your closet. In today’s post, we’re going to briefly chat about why the trend could be gaining momentum and a few different ways you can style your corset. And finally, we’ll go shopping for some of my favorites! Why is a Corset trending?
We can potentially attribute this trend to our need for structure both in our everyday life and in our wardrobes now that we are 2 years post-pandemic and are moving away from relaxed loungewear and lifestyles. Perhaps it’s because of the popularity of Bridgerton and people wanting to do a modern take on the Netlifx drama wardrobe. Waist cinching silhouettes are trending in general so if corsets aren’t for you, try a dress or blazer with a cinched in waist, or a cinching belt.
