Spring Trend Alert: Hair Accessories

The Trend Guides are back for Spring & Summer! You might remember last year, we went in-depth into many of the hottest trends of the Fall/Winter season and with this article and video, we kick off the Spring & Summer trends specials. Hair Accessories were a huge trend on the S/S runways last September and were seen everywhere as well on the streets worn by some of your favorite bloggers and editors. So in today’s video, we’re talking whether you should or shouldn’t hop on this hair accessory trend!
Why You Should Join the Hair Accessory Trend
There are three main reasons why I think you should sport this trend: For starters, it’s low commitment. We’re not talking about you having to re-do your wardrobe, or look into things that hard to wear. We’re talking headbands, hair pins and hair barettes - three items that are generally easy to add to your hair, and most likely you already have.
The second reason goes along with the first: it’s cheap to sport! In the event that you don’t have the right headbands, hair pins or barettes, guess what? You can go on Etsy, or go to Walmart or Target and add some for less than $10! And if you’re into DYI, you can make your own customized accessories at home!
Lastly and also going along with the first two: they go with everything and are super easy to style! Many times a super cool trend comes along and you really want to wear it, but it’s just not easy to wear out or to work. Or it’s hard to pair with that you currently own in your wardrobe. Well, certainly not this one. No matter what you have in your wardrobe, no matter what style you are attracted to, you can rock this trend because hair accessories go with everything!
