styling overalls

Whether you opt for the fit of the overalls to be baggy or a fitted pair make sure the hem is short enough to show off your shoes. Why? It automatically makes the look more chic! But If you do want to rock a wide legged pair stick to a pointed toe shoe to not only create an illusion of a leaner appearance but to also show your shoe.

However, if you want to wear flats as opposed to heels, make sure the top you choose is fitted, as opposed to a loose blouse. This will balance out the look! A loose blouse works better on those that are taller and that’s why I choose heels in the look here: so it creates a longer silhouette, and doesn’t make me look bigger than I am!

Accessories are key:

  • heels will automatically dress up overalls.

  • add a cool shirt underneath the overalls.

  • add a clutch to dress it up even more.

To winterize your look, simply add a cool oversized scarf, swap out the shirt for a sweater, add a coat, and/or swap for pointed toe ankle booties!

What’s your verdict would you rock overalls?

As always thank you for reading!
