One of the biggest trends this Fall will be the Western Trend (competing with the Leopard trend) and that naturally means that when it comes to bags to style and bring the western trend to the front, the Saddle Bag will reign supreme. The revival of the Christian Dior Saddle Bag cements this, for example. But today’s post is about another saddle bag that will complement your wardrobe for the new season: The Ulla Johnson Esti Shoulder bag. Ulla Johnson is known for her feminine yet bohemian designs and she is also one of my favorite designers, personally.
Esti Shoulder Bag Specifications
Made with cowhide and featuring a threaded leather trim, in addition to brass-tone metal studs, the Esti Shoulder bag is western trend perfection. Inside, a small patch interior pocket allows you to organize your bag. However, it is rather small, so don't think you'll be able to keep a big agenda or anything similar separate.
Measuring Height: 8.25in high, by 9.75in long, and 3.25in in depth, the bag is rather spacious allowing you to easily have keys, phones, make up essentials and wallet with no issues. I would even venture to say, though I haven't tested it, that an iPad mini might fit as well so that should give you a good idea of the size.
Styling the Esti Shoulder Bag
The Ulla Jonhson Esti Shoulder bag will shine when you bring forth the western trend through your look. For example, for brunch and weekend errands, you could pair with a fun prairie dress and boots. Heading to work? Consider the prarire dress as well, or a great pant suit, but add a fun ankle cowboy boot to it as well. Going out for date night? No problem! Grab your go-to black leather shorts, and black button-down shirt and pair with some cowboy or thigh-high boots!
Verdict
The Ulla Johnson Esti Shoulder bag is a great bag to wear this fall if you want to rock the western trend. But the quality of the materials and the attention to detail will have you wearing it long after the trend sets off into the sunset. Its spacious inside fits so much stuff that it makes the bag perfect for work or running errands. Priced at $895, it's one of those investment bags that most of us can't quite get every day. But it's in the realm of accessible luxury when you consider the designer, the quality, the details, and the like. If you live for the western trend, this could be the bag to rock day in and day out!
