Out & About with Alice + Olivia Two Piece Set

Winter continues - when will it end? WHENNN? But I'm back in NY and wanted to share with you the details on one outfit which has received a lot of inquiries. You saw me wear it right after NYFW, and then it was featured in the Miami video you might have seen recently. That's right, today we're talking about an outfit I love, and one that is perfect for twirling: This Alice + Olivia Set.
A Set - Not a Dress
At first look, it might appear to be a dress, but this look actually is a two-piece made up of a pleated skirt and a silk button-down blouse. I'm a big fan of how they look together, of course, but the beauty is that they look equally as well as separates and are quite versatile. Together, they create this illusion of them being a dress which means not a lot of styling is required. Because it's chilly in NYC right now, I paired it with a black leather jacket (similar here), but during Summer, you could wear as is.
But they also work great as separates that can go anywhere from brunch, to work and straight to vacation as well. Because they're rather colorful pieces, they work nicely paired with neutrals, or with each other.
For accessories, I stuck with black for this particular look, and opted for my go-to belt bag (appears to be sold out everywhere, but this one is similar)that you've seen before and kept it simple with the shoes as well.
