An Easy and Cute Summer Look
Hi all,
A quick post today to talk about this easy-to-put-together Summer look consisting of pairing shorts and tank top. I bet you;'re thinking "wow, Christie! Revolutionary thought there!" But how do we keep such a popular combo fresh? It's all about colors and patterns. Let's take a look: nothing groundbreaking right? So how to make more exciting? Opt for colors and patterns.
Yellow Top
Summer is here and I’m currently obsessing over yellow right now. The color of the sun is dominating my outfit choices as of late and I love the criss-crossed back detailing on this particular tank top. This detailing is what sets this top apart from the bunch and a great option to add to your wardrobe. Plus, as of writing, it's on final sale!
Embroidered Shorts
So we're talking all about patterns and colors so, naturally, I chose these Embroidered shorts. They're a great alternative to a pair of denim cutoffs - which of course I also have and recommend you do too.
Espadrilles
You've seen these shoes before. I'm a repeat offender of these because they're some of my favorite shoes right now. These are a pair of Nine West espadrilles, with a 4'' heel. A perfect pair to take from day to night and elevate any casual day outfit.
Bag
When looking to finalize the look and add a bag, I opted here for Chila bags. They're season-ready since they're made of straw and are hand-woven. Plus, you know I like to align myself with brands that do some good. Chila bags are made by women from the Way tribe in Colombia and each is a one-of-a-kind design and take anywhere between 10-15 days to make!
This look is easy, casual yet chic. So it'll feel at home while running weekend errands, or going to weekend brunch following said errands. Heading out to dinner or strolling the town during your summer vacation? This works too.
