Art Basel Look: Fringe Jacket & Sunnies

Art Basel. A week that some locals avoid like the plague and out-of-towners look forward to all year. You can think of it as a Fashion Week of sorts for Miami. It's time to dress up and enjoy some of the best art from around the world, and yes, attend some fun events too.

Today's look is all about this fringe jacket and sunnies. The rest of the items complement these two. So let's look at these two in detail.

Nasty Gal Fringe Jacket

This look incorporated this gorgeous multi-colored fringe jacket because I thought it screamed art and fun and thought it was perfect for a night of outings in Miami Beach. I might be slightly obsessed with how the fringes dance around when you walk.

This time, I paired it with cut-off shorts (the temperature is in the 80s after all), a black commando off the shoulder body suit and black slouchy boots from DSW. Since the jacket is so loud, it's important that the other items tone it down, or let it shine per se and don't compete. So this all-black ensemble worked.

Then we have the Ray Ban sunnies from Sunglass Hut. I've always said that a good pair of sunnies that can add the final touch to a good outfit and elevate it from good to great. These do just that. They add what's needed and nothing more. Plus, they're great for many outfits and are not season-limited, so they'll be a good investment.

Where To Wear This Look?

This look is perfect for weekend brunch, festivals, or a cool date night. It is loud, so you should be ready for to turn some heads. Another great idea is for New Year's, which is coming up really fast!
