Hi all!

Hope you're all having a great week! Today's fashion tip is all about how to add personality to your winter coat, cardigan, and blazer by simply adding a belt! Belting also helps multiply outfits in your closet, without having to go shopping. Make sure to keep to these three tips when belting your outerwear.

The first tip refers to the location of the belt. Make sure to place the belt at your natural waist. by doing this, you are creating a beautiful hour glass silhouette and defined waist.

The second is about which width of belt to use. If wearing a thick coat or long blazer, use a belt that is at least 2 inches wide. Thick belts also work for those with longer torsos, whereas a skinny belt will be more flattering for those with shorter torsos. When wearing a cardigan for work or a day of running errands, pair with a skinny belt.

And third, is about whether to unbutton or button the garment. Keep the garment closed or buttoned when wearing with a blazer or thick coat for a streamlined look. When pairing with a thin cardigan, you have the flexibility to unbutton or button the garment.

Also, if you don't have a belt that fits, tie it or tuck it underneath, like in the image below!

Remember, don 't underestimate the power of the belt, as this accessory slenderizes your shape and helps transform an outfit!
