4 Winter Wardrobe Staples
Today’s post is all about a cozy yet chic look that’s great for a mild fall or winter! It also features some must have fall and winter staples. So let’s take a look!
The Black Patent leather Skirt
I adore this Black patent leather skirt so much and it’s such a great must have staple for fall and winter. It won’t go out of style because this material while trendy has become a classic! Thus, making it a great buy. Since it’s black and is a solid color it can honestly go with any color or print. And if you live somewhere where it doesn’t get cold during fall or winter than this is a good piece to help you still dress for the season while not being hot.
But If you do live somewhere cold simply add stockings for some extra warmth, these are quite thin so they don’t add much warmth but don’t worry I wasn’t outside for too long!
The Ivory Wool-Cashmere Sweater
Another must have piece is an ivory sweater. Yes, you can still wear white after Labor Day! What I love most about this sweater is that it goes with absolutely everything! It’s a mix of both wool and cashmere so you know it’ll keep you warm without having to wear tons of layers. I also personally love v-necks, as opposed to scoop necks because they help create the illusion of a leaner face and neck. So that’s a quick way to look slimmer in an instant!
This one is oversized and I’m obsessed with it! Since it’s oversized it can be styled as a scarf or as a cape. And capes are back in style so this scarf that can double as a cape from Maje is a keeper. I personally think that capes are socially acceptable blankets that you can wear out in public and this one is just so soft, incredibly cozy, and chic!
Lace-up Combat Boots
Whether hiking, running errands in town, or going to a cool brunch these lace-up combat boots are a must. I paired the boots with great slouchy socks for some added warmth but a part from that I also love how they look paired together. I chose to wear them with my look given that I was going on a walk in the woods on a recent trip to Vermont. But this look can easily be worn in the city to bunch or running errands. P.S. these boots are also quite affordable at $59!
All in all, these pieces look great together but can easily be styled to make multiple various looks thanks in part to the versatility of the pieces.
So what did you think? Which one of these pieces did you like the most and would you wear this look?
As always, thank you for reading!
