A Fashion Tribute to the 1970's!

Shop the post || Camel Coat: Zara  (similar) || Black Body Suit: (American Apparel) || Black booties: Steve Madden || Pastel Green High Waisted Pants:  (Similar), (another similar), (and another similar), and (last one-my personal favorite)

The 1970's have returned! The question is, how do we pull off this look?

The safest way to pull off this spring trend if you aren't feeling too risky or do not want to invest to much is by wearing flared denim pants or high-waisted & wide-legged trousers! Finish this look with a form fitted top, body suit, or tuck your blouse to emphasize these pants and your waist.

Jumpsuits are another way to pull off this look. Try this one or this one!

The Wrap Dress. Did you know that DVF created her line of wrap dresses in the 1970's? Love this one.

Anything with Fringe or Suede! These pieces aren't reserved for accessories, so have fun experimenting.

Floppy hats! Hennin Headwear has an amazing selection, like this one.

Platforms! The higher the better.

But remember to stick to one bold item, as this is the focal piece. Finish the look with neutrals to keep the rest of the look minimal and modern.

Thanks for reading!

XOXO,

Christie
