A Weekend At Brickell City Centre in Miami

Hi all,

When a weekend contains shopping, some drinks, good food and a comfy bed, it means it's been a good weekend, right? That's exactly what took place when I visited my old stomping ground of Brickell and the new Brickell City Centre and EAST, Miami Hotel.

Brickell City Centre Shopping

At its heart, Brickell City Centre offers a great shopping experience for all price points. From Saks Fifth Avenue to Coach, there's something for everyone.

This past weekend, we had a goal in mind: Spring is here and Coachella is coming up and with it, the start of festival season. So we set off to find the perfect festival outfit! Our quest took us to some of the best stores in the mall and yielded many great looks and pieces.

Our first stop was Koko & Palenki. There, we found a gorgeous lemon short and top matching set from Show Me Your Mumu, perfect for Spring, Summer and Festival season. We also saw the beautiful blue dress you see on the image at the top of the article that while not meant for festivals, I just couldn't pass it up! Last but not least, we picked out some beautiful shoes from Schutz and See By Chloe.

Next, we stopped by Coach and we looked at some gorgeous leather jackets and tees. In fact, the look I was wearing throughout the live feed was from there. The accessory game was particularly strong at Coach for festivals, with amazing bags and chokers.

We were in need of sunglasses, so naturally the next stop was at Designer Eyes, where we selected a cool pair of Celine sunglasses.

No festival or summer wardrobe can be complete without a bathing suit and for that we visited OndadeMar. Here, we spotted a beautiful blue bathing suit that features ruffles and gold studs in addition to must-have cover ups. We visited a super cool store next: In Sight. Here, we found the absolute coolest, must-have hat for the Summer which stated "Mermaids Don't Cry".

More shoe shopping was up next, with a dual stop: First Michele LoPriore, which featured an amazing set of ankle boots and a pair of mules - perfect for the desert. Then, we visited Stuart Weitzman and we were greeted with some champagne and beautiful shoes, including a pair of flatforms.

Our last stop was at Saks, where we selected the last parts of the final outfit, pictured below.
What do you think?

EAST, Miami Hotel

With our shopping done for the day, we proceeded to check in into the EAST, Miami Hotel, located within Brickell City Centre. The hotel features regular king and queen-size rooms but also residences for longer stays, including 2 and 3-bedroom apartments. These larger rooms are perfect for birthday parties, bachelor and bachelorette weekends or longer family vacations. EAST, Miami Hotel also features 2 restaurants: Quinto La Huella & Sugar. The former is an Uruguayan steakhouse while the latter stays close to the developers' Asian roots.

Following some drinks at the - very good - lobby bar, we ordered some room service to the room which included some champagne and a pizza, a perfect way to relax. The balconies offer the perfect city and bay views and the sunset provided the perfect backdrop to unwind.

Located in Brickell, Miami's Financial center, steps away from downtown Miami and less than 10 minutes from Miami Beach, Brickell City Centre offers the perfect one-stop stay: Great shopping, yummy restaurants and a chic hotel. I look forward to visiting again soon and encourage you to check it out if you're planning a Miami trip soon!

As always, thank you for reading!

xoxo
