Hi everyone!

My Travel in Rewind series will feature tips based on where I have recently visited on where to eat, play, & sleep in various cities around the globe.

As a Miami native, I thought it made the most sense for my first Travel in Rewind post be about where I was born & raised! It also just so happened to be the first warm place I thought to visit while experiencing my first winter in the Northeast! Brrr....

For this trip, my hubs & I wanted to stay somewhere that we could party in SoBe (aka: south beach) so The Shore Club seemed to be the perfect fit for us. On the weekends, it also features pool parties with a live dj. I have heard that the hotel rooms can seem claustrophobic so we decided to upgrade to an Ocean View room with a balcony (It was a great idea). The bathroom was also pure heaven.

For dinner, we chose Nobu. How can you possibly pass amazing sushi when it's in the same hotel that you're staying at? I highly recommend the tuna tacos & the spicy tuna roll and the mushroom toban-yaki for those that are vegetarian.

As for clubbing, I highly recommend Story Night Club. They feature hip hop on Thursdays, EDM (electronic dance music) on Fridays, & underground techno on Saturdays. We went to see Luciano, an underground techno artist. For me, Story and Liv are the best night clubs in Miami. But keep in mind that door policy is very strict, so make sure to dress to impress (yes, I know that sounded incredibly cheesy)!

Thanks for reading! Next stop...

XOXO

Christie
