Hi all,

The 70's are still trending and I have been obsessing over anything flared as of late. It makes sense that when I saw this bell sleeved top, I couldn't help but immediately want it! The style of the bell sleeve top is mostly fitted until it reaches midway between the elbow and wrist and then flares out. I particularly love the movement of the sleeves when I walk in this top from Pixie Market (you'll fall in love with everything they sell)! I also love the baby pinstripe print of the top, as it modernizes the shirt and creates a minimal and masculine feel to the look.

The main style tip when wearing a bell sleeved top is to make sure to balance the look out with a slimmer fitting bottom, try leather pants, skinny jeans, a pencil skirt, or shorts. This will prevent you from appearing larger than you are and adding more shape to the look. For this look, I chose a pair of distressed mom jeans that I have been living in as of late. Because this is also a statement piece, I stuck to a classic slingback for my choice of shoes (not pictured) but you could also try a metallic heeled sandal.

You'll also may have noticed my new phone case, it's a customized clear case with a yorkie on it from @casecavern.

What are your thoughts about bell sleeves? Would you try this trend?

As always, thanks for reading!

xoxo,

Christie
