Hi all,

Today we're talking about this casual, fun look and discussing how to style waist coats like this one! So let's dive right in:

Beige Waistcoat

A beige waistcoat is a great addition to any wardrobe because it's versatile and can be styled in many different ways. Picture yourself with a basic tee if you live in warmer climates or with a thick knit underneath if you live up north. A secret you always want to remember is to keep any top that you layer with a waistcoat like this one, neutral. Another item that is important when it comes to waistcoats is their length as they usually hit right below the thigh. This creates a leaner appearance, and an overall chic look.

For this outfit, I decided to go with a grey turtleneck as the temperatures here in NYC have dropped but it's also not time to go with a full, thick sweater yet. To continue the look, grab your favorite pair of high-waisted denim. I'm loving high-waisted jeans as of late as they give us shorter girls the illusion of longer legs. To complete the look, I went for these great pumps as I love the height of the heel. It's that perfect mix of not too high, but not too low either ;) Finally, I wanted to add a pop of color and the red bag was the perfect way of doing it, though other colors you have in your closet will work just as well as long as it pops!

As always, thank you for reading!

xoxo,

Christie
