Today's OOTD was perfect for my last chic lunch in NYC and it also made for a very cool travel look. What I love about dresses is that they can be worn dressed down very easily. Since I would be walking around the city, I decided to wear these brogues from Zara, that also happen to be one of my favorite purchases this year, if you haven't noticed yet ;) To balance the look on top, I decided to pair with a very NYC-appropriate black leather jacket. For bag, I chose my classic Birkin since I can throw everything into it.

By the way, wearing your biggest purse on board the plane is a great way to save space in your suitcase. I personally like traveling with just a carry on because I'm afraid of having my suitcase lost, so this is how I happen to pack everything in just one bag. I will be going to Europe next month for an extended trip and I plan to bring this same combo. Let me know if you're all interested in a how-to-pack blog post!
